I miss the days where nothing really mattered,
where I could be myself around my friends.
We used to explore the stars together.
They grew up, and so did I.
So, here I am floating ‘round my tin can,
Far above the moon,
Planet Earth is blue,
and there’s nothing I can do.
(I’m gonna go listen to space oddity now instead of doing math homework. It’s hard to pretend school is normal when it clearly isn’t. I don’t want to be here right now.)
“Planet Earth is blue,
and there’s nothing I can do.”
school is not normal anymore
